These days, check in for flights are no longer a hassle as it used to be. Of course, you still can approach the airport check-in counters but just for your information, here are 8 other convenient check in options when flying with Malaysia Airlines.
Check in online by printing out the boarding pass yourself.
You will receive your boarding pass on your phone with a 2D barcode that can be scanned at the airport security and at the boarding gate.
If you didn’t send your boarding pass from your web to your mobile previously, you can immediately retrieve them by logging onto flymas.mobi on your smartphone or tablet. They will send the 2D barcode mobile boarding pass via SMS or email.
Just locate these kiosks at the airport to check in and print your boarding pass.
Only available at KL Sentral so far but it’s an iPad kiosk for you to check in and receive a 2D barcode boarding pass on your mobile.
Apparently, if you have a confirmed return trip within Malaysia or to Singapore, you can enjoy a one-time check-in service.
For Enrich Platinum or Gold members and First or Business Class passengers, you can call or check in at the premium frontend check-in lounge 30 minutes before take off if you don’t have baggage to check-in.
This service is available at KL Sentral Kuala Lumpur and in Hong Kong. If you are using the KLIA Ekspres or Transit train service, you may also check in your bags. Each luggage is bar-coded for easy tracking and is integrated with the KLIA baggage handling system.
