Built in 1975, Yongpyong Resort is the very first ski resort in Korea. It’s also a host to some of the sporting events and an active contributor to the PyeongChang 2018 Winter Olympic Games. This resort is also very popular thanks to Korean hit drama and the recent .

Yongpyong Resort was specifically featured in Goblin’s episode 9, where Eun Tak took a part time job to hide from Goblin. They also featured the Gondola that Eun Tak took up to the Dragon’s Peak as well as a magnificent aerial view of the place.

We managed to visit Yongpyong Resort’s Dragon Peak by taking the Gondola up that cost around 15,000won per adult. Although it’s a long 20minutes ride up, the view of Mt. Balwangsan and its surroundings was absolutely beautiful.

Heads up, there will be a lot of people, ski-ers and snowboarders up there but the view from Dragon Peak is magnificent.

However, we didn’t manage to completely around the area as we were short of time. Thus, when you are there, do give yourself time to explore the place!
