Online Arrival Card System For Non-Taiwan Citizen Available

14 JULY 2015

ONLINE ARRIVAL CARD SYSTEM FOR NON-TAIWAN CITIZEN AVAILABLE

Taiwan Online Card System

From 1st July 2015, responding to the Energy Saving and Carbon Reduction, and Simplify immigration inspection of foreign traveller for the National Immigration Agency R.O.C, non-Taiwan citizens can now fill in the arrival card of immigration inspection online by accessing the National Immigration Agency official website after purchasing their ticket.

The online arrival cards should help streamline immigration inspection of foreign nationals traveling to Taiwan, reducing wait times at airports. Besides that, business travellers who also qualify can benefit from this, as it’s a faster procedure.

Online Arrival Card is only available to the following travellers:

  1. Foreign nationals who do not hold a Taiwanese residence certificate or diplomatic ID card.
  2. Individual mainland Chinese nationals who hold multiple-entry/exit permits.
  3. Residents of Hong Kong and Macau who hold single- or multiple-entry/exit permits.
  4. Nationals without household registration (NWOHR) who do not hold a Taiwanese residence certificate.

For more information, visit the National Immigration Agency official website.
