Recently, a writer, Suzy Strutner, from The Huffington Post wrote an article titled “We Found The ONE Reason Why Your Hotel Bed Is So Perfect” and instantaneously, we here at 12FLY felt the need to share their awesome findings because while reading it, we all unconsciously nod our heads continuously in agreement.
Many times, if you are staying at a good hotel, you actually feel good waking up in a hotel bed and the reason being for this blissful hotel experience are simply all thanks to white beds. Turns out, white is a symbol of luxury and when you feel more luxurious, you tend to sleep more luxuriously.
Great hotels such as Westin, Hilton and Park Hyatt feature an all-white bed as the centrepiece of their room. It creates a halo effect while subtly creating a simplistic aura that hotels are the place to leave your troubles and chaotic world behind.
This theory is not proven but thinking about it, it’s quite hard to imagine an ideal hotel bed that isn’t white.
