#1 Ghost Museum, George Town

If you visit during the month of October, you might feel a spooky atmosphere during this period. If you want to learn more about ghosts and ghouls from around the world then the Ghost Museum in Penang is the place to be. There are themed ghost stories featuring mannequins here and also costumes for visitors to wear. Admission fee is RM18 for local adults and RM8 for children.

#2 Wonderfood Museum, George Town

Malaysia is recognised as a global food destination and Penang is known to have the best food in the country. It is little wonder though that Penang would play host to a museum which celebrates food! Here at the Wonderfood Museum you can find large replicas of Malaysian dishes with plenty of fun information.

#3 Toy Museum, Penang

Staying in Penang, we now go to the largest toy museum in the world. With an area spanning 1,000 square meters, it features a whopping 110,000 toys, dolls, and collectable items. Entry fee is RM15 for adults and RM10 for children.

#4 Yasmin Ahmad Museum, Ipoh

The late Yasmin Ahmad’s commercials and films touched many of our hearts. A special resource centre will act as a “museum” dedicated to the immensely talented director. Located at Kong Heng in Ipoh, content at the location is refreshed every six to 12 months.
