The highly anticipated Canon PhotoMarathon is returning for its 11th year in Malaysia on 9 September 2017 (Saturday) at Berjaya Times Square, Kuala Lumpur. Open to Malaysians from all walks of life, Canon PhotoMarathon welcomes all photography enthusiasts as Canon Marketing (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. aspires to elevate the interest of Malaysians in photography to greater heights.
Over 1,000 participants are expected to showcase their skills and creativity based on three photographic themes in this year’s Canon PhotoMarathon. The best photo submissions from the participants will be reviewed by three renowned photographers Asmady Ahmad, Vincent Thian, and Fiona Lim.
Participants can look forward to prizes worth over RM54,000, including some of Canon’s latest cameras. The Open Category Grand Prize Winner will enjoy an all-expense paid trip to Japan worth RM10,000 to participate in Canon PhotoMarathon Asia Championship, with a brand-new Canon EOS 6D Mark II DSLR camera. First prize winners for the Open and Student Category will take home a Canon EOS 77D DSLR camera and Canon EOS 750D DSLR camera kit respectively. Other prizes include Canon PowerShot G7X Mark II DSLR camera, Canon EOS M10 mirrorless camera kit, Canon Selphy CP1200 compact photo printer, Canon Powershot SX730 HS compact camera and more.
The 11th Canon PhotoMarathon in Malaysia will be held on 9 September 2017 (Saturday), from 9.00am to 8.00pm, at Berjaya Times Square, Kuala Lumpur.

Participants are required to bring their Identification Cards or passports for registration purposes; children below 18 years of age are required to bring a parental consent letter to register. The registration fee is RM30 for open category; and RM20 for student category.
