It was a 4day 3night Star Cruise Superstar Libra Penang-Phuket-Krabi package. Though, it wasn’t any regular vacation because we had a Malaysian celebrity, Pak Nil, on board with us! 

This special package was only available for a limited time around the end of last year and the only difference is that there were a couple of additional activities organised by Pak Nil and his team that were only made available for cruiser who bought this special package.

The next morning, we had an early breakfast (yes, we ate again) session at the western cuisine Four Seasons Restaurant. Though they have a smaller choices of food (as compared to Mariners Buffet) but the breakfast quality is worth it. If you enjoy a peaceful, fancy, fine breakfast dining, this is the place for you.

We had much time to kill before going off for our Phuket City Tour, lazing around the deck and enjoy the morning breeze was one unproductive thing we didn’t regret doing while listening to the sounds of the morning Zumba Dance Class going on by the pool.

Special activity Fun Games with Pak Nil spotted. Guests were seen having fun playing musical chairs and pass the ball to win prizes!

We had lunch at Spices Restaurant, one of the Ala Carte restaurants on board. It serves halal Malay cuisine and is free of charge for Muslim guests but chargeable for non-Muslim guests.  It was a small area with limited choices but the food was really delicious. If you are craving to try some Malay food, you will want to visit this place.

We reached Phuket around 12pm and this is when we had to assemble at the Stardust Lounge to go on ship’s tender for our Phuket City Tour. The tour is optional with multiple package choices. These are usually pre-booked but if you are interested to go on a free and easy excursion, feel free to get a sticker at the reception. Or you can stay on ship and enjoy activities on ship.

Tip: You are required to register and collect a sticker on the first day if you choose to go on tour or free and easy time in Phuket. They only give out limited amount of stickers, as they can’t afford to transport every guest on board to land. So plan your trip ahead to secure yourself a spot. They have the information flyer at the reception counter too.
