Sail Date: 30 November – 3 December 2014

It was a 4day 3night Star Cruise Superstar Libra Penang-Phuket-Krabi package. Though, it wasn’t any regular vacation because we had a Malaysian celebrity, Pak Nil, on board with us! 

This special package was only available for a limited time around the end of last year and the only difference is that there were a couple of additional activities organised by Pak Nil and his team that were only made available for cruiser who bought this special package.

For some unknown reason, we decided to have our dinner at Four Seasons Restaurant. Probably because we’ve walked over to Ocean Palace and nothing on the Chinese cuisine menu that attracted us, thus we settled for posh Western steak instead. Wasn’t up to our expectation, we wished we had gone to Mariners Buffet for a crazy buffet feast.

At 10pm, it was time for “Colours of Asia”, a crew show extravaganza! It was interesting to see multiple culture performances, all prepared by the talented crews. Definitely a fun show to watch with the family.

After that, we prepared ourselves for a little chocolate indulgence. It was a Pyjamas Theme Party Night with Pak Nil. Everyone came in their “best” nightwear in hoping to win the best dressed of the night. Also, Pak Nil was a sweetheart to bake a cake and celebrate November babies on stage. His red velvet with cream cheese cake was so good that I went for a second slice.

Pak Nil was a total comedian on stage hosting the night. The games were hilarious and prizes were attractive and generous. It was as if there was laughing gas spread within the lounge, everyone was laughing and having a truly great time.

What a way to end the night.
