This Melbourne to Adelaide road trip is famous for both right and wrong reasons; some loved it while some hate it. The journey goes along Shipwreck Coast, Twelve Apostles (only eight left), and the Naracoorte caves. We suggest that you do some research about this road as there are ton of videos and reviews of it online before you seek to head on this adventure.

Here’s an epic trip as you drive up from Perth, stop by Shark Bay to greet the bottlenose dolphins, then walk barefooted on the beautiful white sand beach of Broome. You might need a four-wheel drive should you be interested to head along the Gibb River Road. Also, do take note that this trip will cost you a few weeks off your schedules.

Tasmania is one of the most unspoiled islands on earth as 40% of the place is protected as national parks and World Heritage sites. It’s a must to climb the famous Cradle Mountain if you have the chance.

The main itinerary to this will be visiting Australia’s most iconic natural feature, Ayers Rock. Another love-hate location by many, some say “What a beautiful view” while others described it as “Just a giant red rock”. It’s a rather far drive from Alice Springs, around 450km but the roads as nicely done, so it should be a smooth ride via the Stuart and Lasseter Highways. Also, you could stop by King’s Canyon along the way for its spectacular view.
