#1 Salam
A Turkish restaurant located near the Seoul Central Mosque in Itaewon. It’s the first Turkish restaurant opened in Korea, and it’s also one of the few to receive halal certification from the Korea Muslim Federation (KMF). The owner is a Korean Muslim who also opened Salam bakery next to the restaurant, so if you want something quick, you can have take-outs from the bakery.

#2 Kervan
This place gives the most authentic atmosphere, as if you have been transported to Turkey. Oven-cooked dishes, such as the Kiymali Pide and Kosebasi Pide, are two popular dishes, along with their other kebab and barbeque dishes. #3 Mr. Kebab
The owner of the franchise of Mr.Kebab in Itaewon is originally from Turkey but has lived in Korea for more than 12 years. The restaurant uses fresh, locally produced vegetables and halal meat produced locally and imported. They also serve awesome Turkish ice cream if you crave for something sweet.

#4 Dong Moon
The very first halal certified restaurant in Gangwon-do. Located in Nami Island, they serve Chuncheon city’s most famous dish, Buldak (hot and spicy chicken) and other variety of Asian food such as Nasi Goreng, rice noodles, curry, and more.
