Gangwon-do is a beautiful destination that all Korea lovers should visit. Thanks to the 2018 PyeongChang Winter Olympic that happened earlier this year, the number of Muslim Friendly or Muslim Welcome restaurants are blooming to accommodate Muslim visitors. Anyone who visits Gangwon should not miss out on their local Korean specialties. We’ve compiled 4 Muslim Friendly restaurants located within Gangwon Province.

#2 Wonjo Chodang Sundubu
Tofu is a well-known ingredient in Chodang area of Gangwon-do thanks to the great quality of mountain water here that make them soft and tasty. In fact, this restaurant is the first to use seawater as bittern to make soft tofu and they hand make all of them, thus, they only serve limited customers each day. We recommend trying their Baekban (set meal) where it includes a bowl of rice, soft tofu soup, and side dishes.
