#1 Hidden Christian Sites
The Hidden Christian Sites in the Nagasaki Region bear outstanding witness to Christianity's development within the Nagasaki region in Kyushu. After the introduction of Christianity to Japan in 1542, the religion briefly flourished and was subsequently banned by Japanese leaders. Local devotees known as the Hidden Christians went into hiding where they continued practising their religion secretly. #2 Ini Rice Terrances
Boasting 324 paddy fields, the Ini Rice Terraces in Hiroshima Prefecture is one of the "Top 100 Terraced Rice Paddies of Japan". With delightful mountain scenery amidst preserved natural greeneries, the site is an absolute stunner.
Events such as old-fashioned rice planting are held regularly to hand down the traditional methods of farming to the younger generation. #3 Kurobe Dam

#4 Inasa Beach
