Not all celebrities get to have their own private jets, most of them travel just like the rest of us. Famous or not, same rules applies to everyone. However, stars usually shout a little louder in protest. These 5 travel incidents are just downright bizarre.

Will.i.am raged when United Airlines gave his first-class seat away.

He arrived the airport at 12.30pm for a 1.15pm international flight. When he found out that the airline had given away his seat, he tweeted “@united I’m sitting in the airport ready to fly to China for a business meeting & I want to thank you so much for giving my seat away…” and then goes on praising airlines, such as British Airways, Korean Air, Singapore Air and Qantas, that so called “waits for premium passengers to arrive”.

United didn’t respond because United’s website specifically stated that you need to be completely finished with check-in and baggage 45 minutes before the flight. Always check in online before hand because airlines start giving away seats of people who haven’t checked in yet, especially when the flight is oversold. By the way, if you speak politely to an agent to check if they have involuntarily bump you, you may get compensation, especially if they take four hours or later to get you to your destination.

Alec Baldwin refused to put his phone away while on board

He was thrown off an American Airlines flight because playing Words With Friends was more important. So he took it on to Twitter and wrote a blogpost for the Huffington Post stating that some of the flight attendants don’t adhere to the “old idea of service” and instead “walk the aisles of an airplane with a whistle around their neck and a clipboard in their hands and they have made flying a Greyhound bus experience.” What a psycho.

Naomi Campbell lost baggage outburst

Celebrity model Naomi Campbell is known for her temperamental character on TV and it’s no different in reality when she learnt that Birtish Airways had lost one of her bags.  She told the captain to get off the plane and go look for it himself and followed with a series of tantrum such as kicking, spitting, swearing at two police officers on board as well as accused a staff member of using racist slur. She was arrested and sentenced to do community service, paid a hefty fine and being blacklisted by British Airways for life.

Ivana Trump shouted at kids on a flight

She was on a plane in Palm Beach, Florida when she not only yelled at some of the rowdy rugrats but also screamed profane term to the flight attendant who told her not to yell at the children. The plane had to return to the terminal and removed her from the flight.

Minka Kelly in distressed when her dog is not on first class with her

She thought she had made the necessary arrangements for her dog, Chewy, to ride first class her but due to space issues, a flight attendant told her that the dog had to go back to coach for takeoff and landing. Kelly was upset and called her manager on the phone with tears to rectify the situation. Thankfully, Kelly consented to ride economy with the dog during takeoff and landing instead of making a big deal out of this matter.
