#1 A fresh earthquake struck eastern Nepal, near Mount Everest, two weeks after more than 8,000 people died in a devastating quake.
#2 The latest quake struck at 12.35 Nepal time (14.50 Malaysia time).
#3 It was centred about 76km east of Kathmandu, in a rural area close to the Chinese border.
#4 The latest quake had a magnitude of 7.3 while the quake on 25 April had 7.8.
#5 According to officials, at least 37 people have been killed and more than 1,000 injured. Also, at least 17 people died in India.
#6 The quake was also felt in northern India, Tibet and Bangladesh. Officials confirmed 16 people killed in the state of Bihar, one in Uttar Pradesh, and one in Tibet.
#7 Many are too scared to stay indoors following the aftershocks. People are sleeping outside in tents and even big concrete pipes.
