#2 Jacarandas In Bloom
There are many spots in Sydney to view blooming jacaranda trees from late October to November including The Royal Botanic Gardens Sydney, Lavender Bay, and Paddington. However, for aniconic shot, head over to McDougall Street in Kirribilli for a definite instagram-worthy moment beneath the dreamlike purple canopy.

#3 Blue Mountains
Only a 90-minute drive from Sydney, the Blue Mountains is a trove of geological treasures and breathtaking views. #4 Paddington Reservoir Gardens
This award-winning venue was once a water reservoir but was transformed and re-opened in 2009. This heritage-listed public garden has historic timber, brick and iron structures, boardwalks to stroll along, a stunning sunken garden, and plenty of places to sit should you need to rest your feet. #5 Forgotten Songs, Angel Place
Near Martin Place, seek out the whimsical installation of the Forgotten Songs in Angel Place. Look up to see 120 bird cages suspended while listening to the sounds of extinct or threatened bird species once heard in Sydney. The Forgotten Songs is a public artwork done by Micheal Thomas Hill that was first shown in 2009 in a temporary art showcase and then was recommission in 2012 as part of the upgrade work of Angel Place. #6 Bondi Icebergs Pool, Bondi Beach
Bondi Beach is home to the world's most famous ocean pool, Bondi Icebergs. Named after its Winter swimming club, the bright white pool dates back to 1929 and it’s an insta-favourite spot by many. Don’t forget to check out their website for possible maintenance dates and time.

#7 Hornby Lighthouse
Painted in distinctive red and white candy stripes, this iconic lighthouse is positioned in a spectacular spot - standing tall at South Head, near Watsons Bay in Sydney Harbour National Park. It promises a magnificent view as well as an amazing spot for whale watching in the winter. Also, if nude bathing by the beach is part of your bucket list, Lady Bay Beach is not far away from the suggested trail.

#8 Stockton Sand Dunes
The visually spectacular Stockton Sand Dunes are the largest in the Southern Hemisphere, reaching heights of over 40 metres. A few activities you could experience include a camel ride along the beach, a quad bike adventure, surfing on sand dunes, and embarking on an Aboriginal cultural tour. Don’t forget if you choose to bike, do stop atop the high dunes to get a 360° view of the vast landscape!
