Werewolves came out to play on Friday night as local experiential agency, Sw1tch Strategies Sdn Bhd hosted Asia’s first ever werewolf-themed urban obstacle night race. Supported by Malaysia Major Events (MME), a division of Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB), an agency under the Ministry of Tourism and Culture, Malaysia (MoTAC), BloodRunner 2015 brought together participants and spectators alike for a night of fun.
BloodRunner 2015 proved to be a 10 kilometre-long challenge around Putrajaya as participants underwent a series of exciting obstacles designed to push them both physically and mentally. From the Waterboy challenge, to Sobriety Beams, to Mount Agony, participants raced to complete each obstacle amidst the werewolves lurking around the course.
Throughout the evening, participants, their supporters and the surrounding community enjoyed festivities at the race site featuring some of Malaysia’s best food trucks. Local favourites Kiss Kill Mary and Jon Liddell were also among a line-up of Malaysia’s up and coming talents that performed, maintaining the high energy of the night.
Apart from Malaysia Major Events, BloodRunner 2015 was also supported by its co-organisers, Mayhem and Exhibit Lab, as well as official partners Perbadanan Putrajaya, RedFM, Evian, Petzl, District Thirteen, Vespa, Runners Unite, Fit Aid, Running Malaysia, and Ultron.
