Imaging solutions specialist Canon Marketing Malaysia recently launched a nationwide programme in search of young, budding photographers to participate in its ‘Canon EOS Youth Ambassador Programme’. This first-of-a-kind programme in Malaysia is part of Canon’s commitment to cultivate a new generation of young photographers and encourage photography amongst Malaysian youths – be it as a lifestyle, a hobby or a career to consider.
While Canon provides hobbyists and professional photographers with the tools of photography, the imaging brand also want to arm those interested with the necessary skills to pursue their passion; while providing a platform and community for like-minded young photographers to come together and further enhance their skills in photography. Furthermore, Canon believes in the importance and impact that photography has on our culture and in being able to preserve the moments that matter the most to us.
For one month, from 10 October 2017 to 11 November 2017, the Canon EOS Youth Ambassador Programme is opened to all Malaysians aged between 15 to 30 years old; regardless of whether you’re a professional photographer or just starting photography. Those shortlisted will get an opportunity to participate in Canon professional photography workshops, train and apprentice under Canon Malaysia’s EOS Ambassadors, and receive other perks such as participating in Canon’s photography events and campaigns.
