Sydney is known for hosting a series of fantastic festive events in the lead up to Christmas. Traditional choirs herald in the Christmas season, performing carols every Thursday evening from 26 November to 22 December in Pitt Street Mall. Carols in the City also perform daily in Martin Place from the 27 November right up to Christmas Eve.
Enjoy Australia’s largest free Christmas concert, Woolworths Carols in the Domain. This popular annual event features much-loved performers delivering all your festive favourites, near the beautiful surrounds of Royal Botanic Garden, on 18 December.
Explore The Very Merry Christmas Rocks Markets from the December 2, held every Friday from 4pm to 8pm, for seasonal handmade gifts and delicious food.
You can also enjoy the Christmas Twilight Market at the heritage-listed Carriageworks on the 23 December where you will find fresh seasonal produce for your Christmas dinner as well as fantastic gifts for friends and family.
