About two weeks ago, a female tourist (supposedly from China) was found shamelessly drying her underwear at Chiang Mai Airport.

A pink bra, black panties and a printed dress were laid across the seats in the departure lounge while she comfortably placed her feet up, taking up six chairs. Bear in mind that it was around 9pm, a peak time at the airport.

Chiang Mai Airport’s PR officer stated that the woman was informed to put away her innerwear. However, no further action was taken, as it did not post a safety risk or illegal. Apparently, these kind of inappropriate behaviours were not uncommon, mentioned in BangkokPost.com on Feb 2.
