Finland, a famous country in Europe known for its beautiful Northern Lights. Many find this place rather magical as they sit under the Aurora Borealis around midnight just to skygaze. It’s said that the best time to catch the Northern Lights is between September to March, late autumn, winter, and early spring.
From Malaysia, there aren’t many flights to Finland. We made a quick search on 12FLY flight search engine and found only four choices with the cheapest being Finnair. These roughly 18 hours flight requires 2 stops, departing on 4 December 2018 and returning on 11 December 2018, the flight ticket for one passenger cost RM5,071.00.
With the same flight itinerary, we did a search on Finnair’s website. Unfortunately, we don’t have the option to get the final price in MYR, thus settled with SGD. The price of the flight cost SGD1686.5. After exchanging the rate (as per 31st Oct 2018), we ended up with RM5,090.64.
Noted that online exchange rates are usually cheaper than your bank rates, thus, it might be slightly more expensive if you pay by card.
Finnair: SGD1686.5 (RM5,090.64)
