A guy from this website (hokuriku.yukison.com) finally succeed in capturing this beautiful mysterious glowing sea. This is because it only happens in Spring but not every year, thus it wasn’t an easy task for the photographer.
Funny enough, it’s not rocks on the beach that causes the blue glow. They are bioluminescent firefly squid that illuminates the Toyama Bay in Japan. Apparently, so far there’s no one that can explain why the squids appears together irregularly in Spring time.
Whatever the reason may be, let’s just enjoy their presence for a little while longer.
