It’s time for another price battle! This time I thought we should take a trip to South Korea, an Asian country that became a popular destination thanks to the hit of Hallyu Wave. If you haven’t check out my previous flight price battle, you should because it has something to do with the cheapest flight to Dubai! 

As usual, we start off by filling in the dates and other details in the ‘Flight’ site of 12FLY. We’ve decided to have our departure on the 24th July (Tuesday) and return on the 31st July (Tuesday). Click ‘Find Flights’ and wait for the screen to load.

At the matrix bar, the cheapest flight seems to be Vietnam Airline at RM1470, however, it requires 1 connection. Unless you enjoy layovers, I don’t see the point when the next option, Korean Air, is a direct flight that’s only at RM1533, about RM100 extra. It just makes more sense to me to select Korean Air. Now that we have chosen our airline, time to hope over to Korean Air’s website for a comparison.

With the exact same flight itinerary, the cheapest flight I could get from Korean Air’s website is RM1883. That’s RM350 difference!

Korean Air Airline: RM1883.00

12FLY website: RM1533.00

Price difference: RM350
