All Jetstar Asia flights arriving and departing from Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) will be moved to the KLIA2 terminal from July 8, 2015 onwards.
According to the Jetstar Asia, there will be no changes in the flight schedule, ground handler, check-in facilities or check-in timings. However, passengers transferring between KLIA main terminal and KLIA2 will need to clear immigration and collect their checked bags before they can transfer to their next flight.
Passengers are advised to check in at the airport at least two hours before departure and are reminded to allow ample time for their local transfers to and from the KLIA airport. Passengers booked to travel between Singapore and Kuala Lumpur on and after June 2, 2015 will receive an updated email itinerary to reflect the location of the new airport.
The straight-to-gate web check-in services will continue to be available to passengers in the new terminal. Jetstar Asia currently operates up to 30 weekly flights between Singapore and Kuala Lumpur.
KLIA2 is located less than 2km away from the KLIA Main Terminal and is accessible from KL Sentral via the KLIA Ekspres and KLIA Transit. There are also free shuttle buses that run from KLIA and KLIA2.
