KOREANS IGNORE SCATTERED CASH IN DOWNTOWN SQUARE

Koreans Ignore Scattered Cash In Downtown Square

A Korean woman threw cash worth $19,030 on the street in Downtown Seoul and apparently no one rushed to pick them up. There were no disruptions! People just gave it a quick glance and continued walking like it’s any normal day.

Police state that picking up unattended money can be charged for theft by law but of course, in this case, the woman intentionally ‘gave up’ her rights to the scattered money. Thus, there’s technically no legal actions can be taken upon those who are interested to take those money for themselves. Still, no one picked them up!

The question is why did the lady do such interesting act? The police state that she was afraid that her ex-husband and son are trying to take her money. Instead of allowing that to happen, she would rather donate it to anyone on the streets. Thus, explaining her actions.

WOW.
