Main Place, the neighbourhood mall in USJ 21 invites you to take a trip down memory lane as it transforms its concourse area into a Malay fishing village from 17 June to 5 July in celebration of Hari Raya 2016. 

Inspired by the nostalgic memories of life in a fishing village that dates back 300 years ago, Main Place has centred its mall décor with the theme ‘Kenangan Balik Kampung’ which symbolically reminiscent of our hometown memories. Upon entering the concourse, shoppers will be greeted by the sights and wonders of village living, which will include wooden-style kampung houses, sampan and fishing nets. 

Family activities suitable for all ages are also lined-up throughout the celebratory duration to keep shoppers old and young entertained. Some of the activities shoppers can look forward to include a Malay Cultural Show, Batik Painting Workshop, Ketupat Weaving Workshop and Pandan Rose Workshop. Shoppers who are interested in traditional Malay games like congkak and gasing can indulge in a game or two workshops and learn more about these classic Malaysian games.

It will also be a rewarding shopping experience for shoppers at the mall with complimentary redemption of a limited edition Main Place duit raya pack (5 pieces) with purchase of RM150 in a combination of two receipts on the same day.
