A special kind of Winter Wonderland awaits you when you visit Main Place, the neighbourhood mall in USJ 21 from 8th December 2016 till 2nd January 2017.

Step into the magic of Christmas with a ‘A Snowy Christmas’ theme this year at Main Place Mall. Wonderfully decorated to fit the theme, the décor will bring to life the festive season as shoppers experience the ‘north pole’ upon entering the concourse. Set your sights on the beautifully adorned Christmas trees with its bright lights, colourful ornaments and classic Christmas figurines such as Mr Snowman, Santa Claus, Polar Bear, Rudolph the Reindeer and penguins. The highlight of the décor is the winter experience, where shoppers get to experience snow fall at the concourse during specific times of the day (Monday to Friday at 8pm; Saturday & Sunday– 2.30pm and 8pm). Another fun highlight of the décor is the Giant Snow Globe. Measuring 3 meters in diameter, shoppers can enjoy a cool photo opportunity when they enter the giant globe.

During the Christmas season of giving, Main Place will also spread the festive cheer to the less fortunate children of IQ70+ (Malaysian Association for the Welfare of the Mentally Challenged Children). IQ70+ provides an all-day comprehensive humane assistance for children with mental disabilities and endeavours in building safe and open living space to offer the children the superior conditions for healthy psychological growth. Shoppers are invited to donate provisions such as rice, canned food, cooking oil, diapers and daily essential items such as detergent, fan, bed sheet and toilet paper to the welfare home. Those who wish to make a donation can drop the items at the information counter at the Ground Floor, Main Place Mall. The collection period will begin on 8th to 25th December 2016.

Family activities suitable for all ages are also lined-up throughout the celebratory duration to keep shoppers old and young entertained. Some event highlights shoppers can expect include walkabouts by Santa & Santarina. Those who enjoy more hands-on activities will be thrilled to know that there are a number of workshops that they can participate in. The workshops include DIY Snowman, Snow Globe-Making, DIY Christmas Plushie Kits, DIY Christmas photo frames and a Christmas Cupcake workshop. Apart from that, there will also be a puppet show, cotton candy giveaways, dance shows and a special performance by the Wind & Ensemble Choir throughout the celebration period.

It will also be a rewarding shopping experience for shoppers at the mall with a gift-with-purchase reward. Shoppers can receive an air humidifier with a minimum purchase of RM250 and above in a combination of two receipts on the same day. Redemption only applies to the first 70 shoppers daily with terms and conditions apply. The redemption period runs from 8 December 2016 to 2 January 2017.
