Malaysia Airlines announced its collaboration with local street-wear clothing brand Abstrax Jingga at the “#FLYINGHIGH” T-shirt launch in conjunction with the national carrier’s 42nd anniversary today.
The collaboration is the second part of the two series #STAYSTRONG #FLYINGHIGH social media campaign which garnered a lot of buzz among netizens around the world.
The campaign started with its first post on Facebook, Instagram and Twitter, #STAYSTRONG imprinted on images of its cabin crew and tech crew with accompanying tagline “Tough times do not last, tough people do”. The airline received outpouring messages of support from the public worldwide.
Following the success of the first post, the second series of the campaign, #FLYINGHIGH saw the release of a short film (featuring songstress, Yuna's brand new single LANGIT) in conjunction with Merdeka in hopes of reaching out to more guests and potential customers with an inspiring message. The film, “Terbang” represents the spirit and values of fellow Malaysians who dream of flying high to carry the name of their country with pride and passion.
The event ended with a tour of the shop and Abstrax Jingga giving away personalized #FLYINGHIGH T-shirts to the attendees.
