MALAYSIANS MAKE IT TO THE TOP 3 IN MASTERCHEF ASIA!

Could a Malaysian be the first ever MasterChef Asia?

Two Malaysian contestants have made it to the Top 3 in this inaugural season ofMasterChef Asia airing on Lifetime (Astro Ch 709) every Thursday at 9pm! Jasbir Kaur from Kuching and Marcus Low from Kuala Lumpur are doing Malaysia proud! In the latest episode last night (Thurs 26 November), the final four contestants each recreated a signature dish at one of Singapore’s most famous fine dining restaurants, Les Amis, then served it to VIPs; marketing manager Priya Barve from India, 39, was eliminated from that round, leaving Jasbir, Marcus and Woo Wai Leong from Singapore in the final 3!

The long awaited finale of the first season of MasterChef Asia is finally here. Join culinary genius Susur Lee; 3-Michelin-starred chef Bruno Ménard; and Singapore-born, Audra Morrice, a MasterChef Australia finalist, as they judge who will Asia’s first MasterChef winner. It started out with 15 aspiring home cooks from across Asia battling it out the MasterChef kitchen, off-site and even overseas, but only one will take home the prize. In the Grand Finale, two remaining home cooks face their toughest tests yet: a Mystery Box, a Chef’s Round Table Meal and a Pressure Test. Who will be crowned the very first MasterChef Asia?
