【MALINDO AIR】FREE BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE REVISED!
Please be informed effective 1st December 2017, Malindo Airways will revise free baggage allowance for Economy Class Jet Operations (Boeing) for bookings which are ticketed (purchased) on and after 1st December 2017. Any reservation made on or before 30th November 2017 will attract the current free baggage allowance.
FREE baggage allowance for Economy Class passengers will be 25KG for the entire network, including Amritsar (ATQ) & Delhi (DEL) for both inbound and outbound segments. This revision will also impact our codeshare flights with our sister airline, Batik Air (ID).
However, please take note that free baggage allowance for Dhaka (DAC) and Chittagong (CGP) will remain as is at 35KG.
With this implementation, the two (2) pieces luggage restriction imposed currently will be revoked for Jet Operations (Boeing), allowing passengers to carry more than two (2) luggage, as long the total weight of the baggage is within the permitted free baggage allowance.
FREE baggage allowance for ATR operations will remain as is at 15KG.
Along with this free baggage allowance revision, Malindo Airways will also revise the pricing tiers of the pre-book baggage allowance. Charges will be updated in the website accordingly.
CHECKED BAGGAGE
FREE BAGGAGE ALLOWANCE
The amount of checked baggage that you can take with you free of charge will vary according to the route, class of travel, terms and conditions of ticket. For most destinations, your free checked baggage allowance is determined by weight (Weight System).
Domestic & International Flights
Business Class - 40kg (for Boeing aircraft)
Economy Class - 25kg (for Boeing aircraft) excluding DAC & CGP, 35kg
Economy Class - 15kg (for ATR aircraft)
Note: Should you exceed this amount, additional charges will be applicable as per the following rates:
+ ATR aircraft - RM39.22 per kg (charges subject to change by airlines)
+ Boeing aircraft (Domestic) - RM39.22 per kg (charges subject to change by airlines)
+ Boeing aircraft (International) - RM48.00 per kg (charges subject to change by airlines)
