In Ningbo city in east China’s Zhejiang province, Wu Hsia (21) broke up with long-term girlfriend Jun Tang (20) after meeting a new lover Rong Tsao (22).

Past three months were hell for Wu as Jun kept hassling him to leave Rong and return to her arms. He was sick of being nagged from both sides, so he chose the most sensible path, to arrange a meeting between the three of them at a nearby river, hoping to talk things out.

When they got to the meeting place, the girls started to argue before Jun decided to jump off the bridge and straight into the water. Rong then too decided to jump off the bridge after giving Wu the ultimatum of choosing between her or his ex. 

Wu was dumbfounded but finally jumped into the river and saved Rong.

After the couple came ashore, Wu contacted his brother to rescue the ex – who is still in the water – before taking Rong home. Wu’s brother called the fire brigade who arrived at the scene and helped Jun out of the river.

Jun was taken to the hospital but there’s not major injuries reported.
