Maybelline New York turns 100 today and declares 15 May henceforth as Maybelline Day! Malaysia joined 129 other countries in this centennial celebration as local celebrities, fashion and beauty editors and fans turned up in style at Maybelline New York’s birthday bash, where they were treated to a unique runway show featuring 10 decades of 10 iconic looks to mark the occasion.

In conjunction with Maybelline New York’s centennial celebration, Maybelline Malaysia organized the contest on Instagram, where Maybelline New York fans were invited to upload a selfie of the day’s iconic look and express themselves through makeup. The hashtag, #MYMAYBELLINE100, generated lots of interest, and Maybelline Malaysia selected 100 participants who received an exclusive invitation to the birthday event. The grand prize winner was finally revealed to be Aresha Suraya Roslan. She went home with RM1,000 worth of Maybelline products, and to top it off, she got the golden opportunity to witness Stevensunny personally reinterpret her winning look on a model during the prize presentation ceremony!
