On Saturday of the fourth week of August each year, the largest and most famous firework competition will take place in Daisen city, Akita, a part of Tohoku region. This year, it’s scheduled on 23 August 2015!

At the festival, the fireworks masters of each team will shoot their own masterpiece in the air. It’s beautiful and it attracts millions of visitors from around the world just to watch art in the air accompanied with grand music.
