"THE Producers" is a new TV series aired at 21:15 every Friday and Saturday on KBS 2. The drama comically yet realistically portrays elite producers who work at the Korean Broadcasting System (KBS) entertainment division, leading chaotic lives yet surviving frequent late work nights and all-nighters with their quick wit and endurance.
Written by the same screenplay writer of "My Love from the Star," Park Ji-Eun, and also starring Kim Soo-Hyun who shot to fame with his role as Do Min-Joon, "THE Producers" was already under the spotlight even before its premier.
Furthermore, the castings of Kong Hyo-Jin and Cha Tae-Hyun, two stars who have always guaranteed high viewer ratings, and the national darling, IU, have further boosted favourable expectations. It may be too early to determine whether "THE Producers" will be the next "My Love from the Star," seizing the hearts of fans in and out of Korea, but here are some sites where the new drama was filmed.
