Oman Air, the flagship carrier of the Sultanate of Oman, is an Official 4-Star Airline. The airline is known for its maintenance of high performance standards when it comes to operations. Oman Air, whose roots can be traced back to the 1970’s, commenced its international service in 1993. The airline’s first intercontinental flight was to Gatwick Airport in London in 2007. Since then, the carrier has been adding new destinations to its network map virtually every year. This 4-star airline was the first to introduce in-flight Wi-Fi and mobile phone connectivity. Oman Air’s new destinations for this year are Istanbul (Turkey) from June 1st, Casablanca (Morocco) from July 1st and Moscow (Russia) from October 30th . Maldives operations resume from 28th October this year.
