PETROL NEW RATES FROM 1 JULY
It’s announced that RON97 petrol will increase by 20 sen from the previous price of RM2.35 per litre to RM2.55 a litre while RON95 petrol will increase by 10 sen from RM2.05 to RM2.15 effective immediately on 1 July according to Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Minister Datuk Seri Hasan Malek.
Diesel prices remained unchanged at RM2.05 per litre.
Additionally, Hasan had also told the public that there will be no early announcement on monthly fuel price changes. Consumers would only know the changes in fuel prices at midnight.
The new price of fuel is usually notified on the ministry’s website.
