The famous family-run Pudu Chan Fatt Wanton Mee with its 62-year-old family recipe has made a comeback. It’s first opened in 1955 by the lare Woon Poon, an immigrant from China, and his wife Lee Yit Yee. After running the stall in Pudu Market for 41 years, they retired and closed their store at 1996.
Now it’s be brought back to live by their daughter, Megan Wong. The new Chan Fatt located at Uptown Damansara has a unpretentious yet modern interior. Some of their current popular dishes that’s sold as an all-day dining menu starts from RM5 per dish.
Some of their must-try are: Char Siew Wanton, Curry Laksa, Lion Head Meat Balls, Sui Gau, Chinese Sausage Rice, and fried wanton.
