Rediscovering the joy of printed photos. Yes, it’s coming back in trend. That’s why people are buying Polaroids and mini instant printers. Guess what, someone managed build a ‘printer phone case’ to be attached to your smartphones, available for both Androids and iPhone!
Launched on 27th January 2015, Prynt requires no pairing system as it’s as easy as plugging your phone in. It also comes with an internal battery so it does not pull power from your phone and you don’t have to be bothered with inks as it’s embedded in the paper! Genius.
Wait, that’s not all. You get to bring your pictures to life too! Oh yes, simply record a 5 to 10 seconds video clip, scan the printed picture with their app and it will reveal the video through augmented reality. Absolutely cool!
The device can take 10 sheets of ink-infused paper at a time and battery lasting for 20 images before needing a recharge. The hardware is compatible with iPhone 5/5S/5C and 6, as well as Samsung Galaxy S4 and S5. Starter kit with a case (comes in white, pink and blue) and 10 sheets of paper cost $99 while the refill packs of 10 paper cost $5.
