West Japan Railway Co. Ltd, Japan's Shinkansen train operator, announced it will launch a Hello Kitty-themed Shinkansen bullet train on 30 June this year!
The company is revamping two Shinkansen bullet trains, covering them in Hello Kitty designs, decorated in pink ribbons, Hello Kitty signature bow, etc.
The adorable trains will make stops at each station between Shin-Osaka and Hataka. The first train is called “Hello! Plaza!” and features Hello Kitty Shop that sells all kinds of cute merchandise you can think of.
You may ride the train with a regular train ticket, purchase in advanced or on your day of travel. A special Hello Kitty café will be opening on 1 June 2018 at Hakata Station.
