One of Korea’s biggest tourist attraction, the Boryeong Mud Festival happens every year in July. Loads of travellers all over the world join the local for this mud filled festival that no one can rest.
Boryeong’s mud is known to be beneficial, they have natural minerals that prevent skin from aging, give skin vitality and elastically. It also has colloid and crystal elements that improve young and fresh skin. So many take this chance to also enjoy a couple of fun activities such as mud wrestling, sliding, and swimming in giant mud baths. If you just want to chill, there’s even a mud massage zone for a good relaxing time.

From Seoul Central City Bus Terminal, take an express bus to Boryeong (보령).
From Boryeong Bus Terminal, take a bus bound for Daecheon Beach. (10min intervals)
[Train and Bus]
From Yongsan Station or Yeongdeungpo Station, take a train to Daecheon Station.
From Daecheon Station, take a local bus bound for Daecheon Beach.
