There’s A ‘Husband Storage Pod’ For Guys When Their Wife Goes Shopping

The Global Harbour mall in Shanghai, China decided to come up with these ‘Husband Storage’ pods for those wives to leave their husbands that don’t want to be dragged around shopping.

Did it work? Guess what, according to The Paper, a few men tried it and thought that it is a novel idea but some improvements need to be done such as adding A/C or provide better ventilation.

Inside each individual pod is a chair, monitor, computer and gamepad, and men can sit and play retro 1990s games. Currently, the service is free, but staff told The Paper that in future months, users will be able to scan a QR code and pay a small sum for the service using their mobile phones.

As much as many do like the idea, some disagree, “If my husband just wants to go out and play games, what's the point of bringing him out?"
