Gangneung, located in Gangwon Province of South Korea is having their annual Gangneung Coffee Festival this 6-10 October 2017!
The Gangneung Coffee Festival was first organized in 2009 as part of the making Gangneung known as a city of coffee. This festival celebrates the emerging coffee culture of Gangneung, which in recent years have been welcoming famous coffee chains and artisan coffee shops.
The Gangneung Coffee Festival celebrates the scenic city’s past and present culture with a variety of coffee-related events such as exhibitions, coffee-making, bean roasting experience and many more. Coffee entrepreneurs can also sign up for on-site seminars about the current coffee industry.
The festival is open to public and it’s free for all but some activities might require a fee.
How to get there: From the Gangneung Intercity / Express Bus Terminal, take Bus 221. Get off at Anmok (안목, the last stop) and walk to the festival grounds (10-min walk).
