#1 Ruins Of St. Paul’s
Perhaps the best known of Macao’s attractions, the Ruins of St. Paul’s are the remnants of St. Paul’s Cathedral after a fire in 1835. Visitors are drawn here by the fusion of Eastern and Western architectural styles, a rarity in religious buildings. The museum opens from 9am till 6pm but with last admission of 5.30pm, and it’s closed on Wednesday after 2pm.
As Macao’s leading tourist attraction, the Ruins neighbour Na Tcha Temple, Mount Fortress and the ever-romantic Travessa da Paixão.

#2 Macao Fisherman’s Wharf
On the coast of the Outer Harbour, Macao Fisherman’s Wharf is a themed leisure complex located 5 minutes away from the Ferry Terminal. It features a spectacular view of the harbour and classic European architectures. Its draw can be attributed to its status as Macau’s largest themed entertainment complex featuring hotels, restaurants, and other entertainment.
For maximum relaxation, come for a night of fine dining with a great view of the sea. If you are inclined to come during the day, however, visit in autumn or winter. With minimum sun shielding, the Fisherman’s Wharf can get hot during summer days. It’s a 24-hour public place but the restaurants usually operate between 11am to 11pm daily.
