Jeonggangwon is the Traditional Korean Food Culture Experience Center where it was established to preserve, research, distribute and promote the values of traditional Korean food culture to the world. There are various activities you can do here such as traditional food making experience (such as kimchi, red pepper paste, mackeral ssamjang, etc), traditional hanok experience where you get to stay in comfortable traditional rooms and eat healthy Korean food. Museums, etc.
We were there to learn how to make traditional Korean Bibimbap. Usually, you’ll get hands-on experience, we unfortunately were lack of time, thus, decided to just watch and enjoy the meal after the show and tell session.
However, this 30 minutes experience will require you to have a group of 10 people. They charge 12,000 won per person and you’ll get to eat your bibimbap after the session too. Thus, it’s best to arrange it around lunch or dinner time.
