In-conjunction with Watsons Members’ Birthday Bash, Watsons rewarded their loyal members with prizes more than RM266,000 during their contest period which kicked off from 3rd September till 30th October 2019. Concluding its two-months contest, a contest finale was held at Town Park, MyTOWN Shopping Centre to select the grand prize winners of the contest. The two lucky winners were Lau Ching Yee, from Puchong, Selangor, and Tan Hui Ning, Petaling Jaya, Selangor, who drove away with two grand prizes of brand-new Nissan X-Trail worth RM133,000 each. 100 Watsons members were shortlisted to compete against each other in three rounds of elimination games during the finale. 

To commemorate Watsons’ 9th Anniversary with the achievement of over 5.5 million members nationwide, Watsons collaborated with Edaran Tan Chong Motor to reward Watsons members with the ultimate driving pleasure. Watsons also gave out RM300 worth of other 100 special prizes, worth 60,00 Watsons points.

During the contest finale, Danny Hoh, Customer Director of Watsons Malaysia, alongside Donovan Chai, Senior Manager, Marketing Communications, Edaran Tan Chong Motor was invited to present two stunning Nissan X-Trails to the lucky winners.

“At first, I was surprised to find out that I was one of the Top 100 contestants to compete in this finale. When it was time for the final game round and to actually win the grand prize, it was an exciting moment and I thank Watsons for giving me this opportunity,” said Tan Hui Ning, While Lau Ching Yee, expressed her love for Watsons as a brand and could not wait to bring his brand-new Nissan X-Trail for a spin.
