Tired of typing all your messages through your phone? Good news for Android, Windows Phone and BlackBerry user, you can now use WhatsApp on your desktop!
However, it’s a web app where it pairs the mobile version of the app to a user’s desktop and so far, works only on Google Chrome.
Go to WhatsApp Web and scan the QR code with the WhatsApp mobile app on your phone to get started. Unfortunately, the phone with still needs to stay connected to the Internet for the desktop version to work. So, if your phone dies, so does your WhatsApp on web too.
WhatsApp still wants to remain focused on mobile but this new ability give users an alternative for checking and replying their messages, similar service such as Facebook Messenger app and main website.
Sadly, iOS users won’t be able to try this feature “due to Apple’s platform limitations” said the company.
How do you like this new feature?
