ZTE (Malaysia) Corporation Sdn Bhd, one of the global leaders in the mobile handset manufacturing industry, today unveiled the highly anticipated ZTE STAR 1 smartphone in Malaysia. The launch is in line with ZTE’s goal to provide all Malaysians with quality affordable smartphones, and is ZTE’s first STAR 1 launch out of China. 


The STAR 1’s key strength is its imaging capabilities. Comparable to a DSLR grade camera, the STAR 1 comes equipped with:

• 4cm macro shooting capability: Allows you to capture super-macro photographs.
• Clarity+ imaging technology: Creates HD photos at the tip of your fingers.
• Dual-colour temperature flash: Improves the white balance and effects of your pictures.

During the event, ZTE also launched their Blade series:

[BLADE VEC PRO, RM 788]: The ZTE Blade Vec comes with a wide vivid 5-inch display with an Octa-Core processor of 1.3 GHz and a battery of 2300 mAh making it a brilliant device for gaming and multimedia purposes.

[ZTE BLADE V5, RM 688]: The Blade V5 has a powerful Quad-core processor, 1.2GHz SnapdragonS4, weighs in at 130g, and packs a 5 megapixel camera which is great for snapping pictures.

[ZTE BLADE L2, RM 488]: The ZTE Blade L2 comes with a vibrant 5-inch screen and a Quad Core processor of 1.3 GHz and is great for multimedia purposes.

[BLADE G LUX, RM 388]: The Blade G Lux comes equipped with a Mediatek MT6572 dual-core 1.3GHz processor, which provides smooth running of applications and multimedia.
