After breakfast, visit Zhengbin Fishing Port Rainbow House. It is an old fishing port with a long history. It was created by the Japanese as early as 1934 AD. During the Japanese colonial period, it was the largest port in Taiwan and it was once a prosperous fishing trading port.
After that,go to Jiufen Old Street. The busiest street in Jiufen is also the place where most snacks are gathered. The narrow alleys are lined with rows of shops, and the hot stoves are steaming with fragrant desserts and salty foods, including the must-try Jiufen taro balls, grass cakes, taro cakes, fish balls, Fish soup, chicken rolls and countless other delicacies. 
Next, visit Shifen Old Street - experience the release of sky lanterns (one sky lantern for 4-5 people, you need to purchase it at your own expense if you want to go alone). Shifen Old Street is located on both sides of the tracks of Shifen Station, the largest train station in Pingxi area. It is famous for the unique street scene in front of the train gate in Taiwan, which often brings unexpected surprises to tourists. There are quite a few sky lantern souvenir shops on both sides of the street. 
Afterwards, drive to Miaoli which will take about 1.30 hours by car. After dinner transfer to Hotel and rest.

we will visit Anping Old Street -  Tree House an attraction that combines history, culture and natural beauty. The surrounding banyan tree roots gradually envelop the building, creating a unique architectural landscape. The tree roots are tangled in the structure, making the entire tree house look like it has been swallowed afresh by nature.
Beside the Tree House, there are Former Tait & Co.Merchant House. A leading British business in Anping, Tainan, thrived as a major player in sugar and camphor exports, while also dealing in tea and opium imports. It was a vital commercial hub during the early days of Anping Port.
Chu Jiu Ying Memorial Hall, is former residence of Chu Jiu Ying that near Tait & Co., originally the Taiwan Salt Dormitory, showcases his contemporary Yan-style calligraphy. He was the former director of the Ministry of Finance's Salt Affairs Bureau and later adopted the title "Anping Old Man" during his stay in Anping.
Dinner will allow you to spend at Local Night Market. Try the delicous local food as dinner and shopping at your own expenses.

After breakfast, visit "Greeting From the Whale" for photos. Inspired by a story written by Yang Shiyi a decade ago, it depicts two fish emerging during a conflict between pirates and fishermen. Attacked but choosing to protect people, they transformed into land and mountains in Taiwan.
After this, we proceed to Qigu Lagoon.Known as the "Inland Sea, is a 300-year-old relic of the Taijiang Inland Sea, spanning around 1,600 hectares. A bamboo raft tour is the best way to explore this Taiwan's largest lagoon. Rich in ecological diversity, it houses over 30 crab species and 200 types of fish, shrimp, and shellfish, sustaining the livelihoods of 20,000 locals.Enjoy all-you-can-eat grilled oysters.
Next Visit to Jing Zhai Jiao Tile Paved Salt Field is the first salt field in Beimen District, and it is also the oldest existing relic of tile-pan salt fields. Originally part of the Qing Dynasty's Sedian Salt Field, formerly known as "Sedian Field," were initially located in Dalin Pu, Fengshan County. Due to flooding, it was later relocated near Waidutou in Jiali, Tainan. Since being moved to its current location in 1818 after another flood, it has remained there for over 200 years. This salt field is the first one in Beimen and the oldest existing site for salt production in Taiwan.
Drive around 1 hours to Chiayi City and transfer to Hotel after dinner.

We can take the Alishan Forest Railway(one way only) to appreciate the breathtaking mountain views. This is a classic experience where you can enjoy tea plantations, bamboo forests, and nature along the way. Jie Mei Ponds or known as Sister Ponds, two alpine lakes, tell a tale of tragic love. Mei Pond is circular with a cedar forest, and Jie Pond, larger and rectangular, features cedar pavilions connected by a bridge. Less than 50 meters apart, enjoy clear water and scenic views along the encircling trail.
The "Three Brothers" and the "Four Sisters" are naturally generated second-generation trees located beside Sister Ponds. Three cypress trees grow in line on top of the felled trunks of red cypress, resembling upright brothers, hence the beautiful name.The "Golden Pig Bringing Fortune"originally a tree stump left from a millennium-old giant tree that was felled, it underwent natural sculpting to form a unique shape resembling a pig. The distinctive appearance, coupled with legendary stories and imagination, has turned it into a unique attraction.
Sezheng Temple, at an altitude of over 2,000 meters, was rebuilt in 1969 and has a century-long history. As the largest temple in the Alishan region, it honors Xuantian Shangdi, Fude Zhengshen, and Zhusheng Niangniang. Serving as a local religious center, it consistently draws worshippers and visitors eager to witness the famous "Divine Butterflies" phenomenon.
Drive around 3 hours to Taichung and take your dinner at local night market by your own expenses.
