Today, it's the Palace Museum, housing Ming and Qing imperial collections as a top-tier national museum. Visit the Yanxi Palace - One of the Six Eastern Palaces in the Inner Court, located on the east side of the East Second Long Street. It was built in the 18th year of the Yongle reign of the Ming Dynasty (1420). During the Ming and Qing dynasties, it was inhabited by imperial concubines. Notably, in the Qing Dynasty, Empress Dowager Dao Guang and Consort Cheng both resided here.
  • Shichahai - Historic and culturally rich area in Beijing, known for its expansive water features and well-preserved architecture. It's the largest and most intact historical district in the city, holding a unique place in Beijing's urban development history.
  • Old Beijing Hutong - The old lanes of the Beijing hutongs, many laid out hundreds of years ago during the Ming and Qing dynasty eras (1368-1912), retain some of the traditional culture and way of life of the past.A hutong is a lane or alley formed by traditional courtyard compounds lining both sides.

Breakfast serve at hotel. Max 10 hrs of vehicle usage and today activities includes:

  • Juyongguan Great Wall - Known as the most beautiful section of the Beijing section of the Great Wall, which is also one of the Seven Wonders of the World. The "First Grand Pass Under Heaven," Juyongguan, is located between mountain valleys, with an S-shaped layout running east to west. The terrain is steep and challenging. Notably, there is no cable car! It is more suitable for young people in good physical condition.
  • The Summer Palace - A royal garden from the Qing Dynasty in China, originally known as Qingyi Garden, located in the western suburbs of Beijing, 15 kilometers from the city center. The entire park covers an area of 3.009 square kilometers, with the World Heritage Site area of the Summer Palace measuring 2.97 square kilometers, and about three-quarters of the area is water. The Summer Palace was first constructed in 1750, severely damaged during the war in 1860, and then restored on the original site in 1886. Its pavilions, long corridors, halls, temples, bridges, and other man-made features harmoniously and artistically blend with the natural mountains and the expansive lake, making it a masterpiece of Chinese landscape gardening design.
  • Bird Nest (Outview) - Known as the National Stadium, is constructed with a series of radial and interconnecting steel trusses surrounding the bowl-shaped seating area, resembling a nest woven from branches. This iconic structure in Beijing served as the venue for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 2008 Beijing Olympics and the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. It has also hosted numerous world-class and national cultural and sports events. In 2014, it was selected as one of the "Top Ten Contemporary Architectural Wonders in China."
  • Water Cube (Outview) - The National Aquatics Center, also known as the Water Cube, is a design concept born from a global design competition. Its seemingly simple "box" shape is the result of a collaboration between traditional Chinese culture and modern technology. The exterior of the Water Cube features a unique structure resembling bubbles, giving it the appearance of a giant cube made of water. This distinctive design, illuminated by colorful lights at night, made it a prominent landmark during the Beijing Olympics.
